All of them work fine for me. The last one works best.
Resulting binary file is at
http://ubuntu.lnix.net/misc/kio_media_mounthelper - chmod +x it, and put
it into /usr/bin
Two people have tried this - no ill effects.
We really want to get this fixed for feisty.
