1. Yes that's what I have been saying all along I have a NAS drive all pictures 
are now on it....
2.  I've tried...
- In software center PPA is available as a software source but in the list 
there are only Libre office and office offerings... No shotwelll
- I tried the sudo method but I get an error saying "/etc/sudoers is mode 0640, 
should be 0440", searched a bit tried changing the mode but I'm not going to 
launch in protected mode ( have no idea how to do that)...
- I'll wait until a newer version is available through normal distribution... 
Or with an installer (deb?)
