I take that back - the updated package from the audio dev ppa causes the
sound to no longer be re-routed. If I select the IEC958 output I get no
sound at all, now I have to select the HDMI output now to get sound.
That fixes part of it, now it's just a matter of getting the regular
IEC958 output to work again.
