Hi -- would like to try the solution pointed at above, but unfortunately there are no firmware upgrades in the list it links to for my model of MBP -- a 5,4. Does anyone know where I can get one, or if one of the other packages (like for 5,3) would be safe for me? Cheers, Doug.
