Hi, I've just checked it and found out that google-talkplugin package was problematic.
nspluginwarpper --configure probably calls npconfig -l and cores if there are google-talkplugin files under mozilla/plugins. An example: amp@amp-laptop:/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/x86_64/linux$ ./npconfig -v -l List plugins in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins Looking for plugins in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins Segmentation fault My solution: remove google-talkplugin and dpkg takes care of the rest. PS. My system is 64bits ubuntu: Linux amp-laptop 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:24 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779678 Title: package nspluginwrapper 1.2.2-0ubuntu9 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 139 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
