I'm adding this comment to clarify a possible ambiguity in my comment.
The problem I described was my case, not the bug submitter Jason's. My
problem seemed to be rooting from nspluginwrapper's npconfig component
(while querying for google-talkplugin's binaries).

I recommend affected users to check what components are installed under
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins folder until a patch is released.
