For some they are invisible, for others they show up but 'avoid' clicks. I
have the problem on my PC that upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 to 11.04, without
the full XUbuntu installation. So I don't have Unity, never had and never will
get it. This rules out Unity itself.
My laptop is a clean install of 11.04, build the same way my PC was 18 months
ago when I installed 10.04 on it: stripped to the bone and build up from there
with only the absolute required packages. This is showing a different issue
when applications are minimized: they jump locations on the task list. If they
were at the left or middle, they end up at the right end when restored. This
doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough times to make it annoying.

So, there IS something wrong with minimizing windows. Just not easy to
fix it seems.
