OK, I've check the values of the window size on one of my other machines
running Lucid. I could easily change the WIDTH of the main window below
1000 pixels. The current values are:
/apps/evolution/shell/view_defaults/folder_bar/width -> 94 pixels
/apps/evolution/shell/view_defaults/width -> 877 pixels
=> This bug is not a duplicate of the 6 year old bug #23810 , because it
was not there in Lucid.
