Hi William
I did the below
In the menu bar
Edit-->Preferences--Security section-->Clicked the "Saved
Password" Button-->typed the email address of the password I had changed into,
the email address as Username appears in the right Column with the site in the
opposite column to which the particular email address is used as the
Username(The particular Email Address we are talking about is used only for the
Google account to be exact the Email address)-->Clicked "Remove" Button--->
Quit Firefox-->Again Started Firefox-->Entered the Email address of which I
changed the password(This time the Email address didn't appear in the set of
Google User-name List)-->Entered the Email Address, no password appeared in the
password box, entered the correct password, logged in successfully and I was
not prompted to Save the Password or Update or any kind of that sort of dialog
box did not appear that would next time make appear the password be entered
automatically once the Google account or the Email Address is selected or
entered manually.
