I made the message on the yellow background go away by importing a clip, but "Render Project" or "Timeline" menu items are all disabled. (redundant questions&answers like these are not helpful)
The installed version is 0.13.5 , why isn't a default Ubuntu app installed using a working version? Why don't I get PiTiVi update to 0.14 with the update manager? Why doesn't the Ubuntu Software Center point me to the last version of PiTiVi ? (PPA related) Why isn't there a PPA, .deb, or install.sh on PiTiVi.org?
