> "Just wanted to point out that no one should treat devolopers as \"service\" > people, since we are not paying a penny." Agreed, I myself am a developer, but I do not contribute (yet) to cool apps like these (PiTiVi) only with feedback&bug reports, some of which were helpful, some not.
Jean-François Fortin Tam, this was my error: I thought that PiTiVi , being a default Ubuntu app, has a much closer relationship with Ubuntu, but as I saw @ https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu- desktop/2011-May/003061.html this is not the case. I will try the PPA on pitivi.org (which I didn't find at first) and if that works, I will report to Canonical that their repo does not contain the last version. I am also unhappy with Ubuntu default app selection. Removing PiTiVi is a shame because it is a nice app (as OpenShot, better than mp3split), but what can I say: canonical also encourages&has a tutorial for "utube ripper" while ClipGrab is a much better app in that area. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662498 Title: PiTiVi split button not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pitivi/+bug/662498/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
