It's honestly hard to say, as there haven't been any other reports of
this... really weird. Could you run the indicator on the command line?
$ sudo apt-get install libindicator3-tools
$ /usr/lib/libindicator/indicator-loader3
/usr/lib/indicators3/6/libdatetime.so > datetime.log
And see if it does the same thing? If it does, please send that
datetime.log file to see if we get any error messages.
