In fact I only see *one* such log attached to this bug, and it's specific to
the netboot installation - which is now tracked as a separate bug, bug
#862823, because the behavior seen there doesn't match up with anything else
shown in this report.

So I don't see any reason to think we'll be hitting timeouts.  Indeed, if
udev were actually waiting for that timeout I wouldn't expect us to see any
of these races...
