Absolutely, Roman. Thanks Rodney, but I still have a full Gnome desktop as well. So what it did was getting a measly 162 kB and now everything is okay. Which makes it even more look like a bug. All this ought not happen. Aunty Tilly is not coming here, reporting the bug, and doing things on the command line. This is not personal, but that the installer is getting stuck must simply not happen if only ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk is missing. And if it is, it ought to be installed. My 2 sen.
