Hi, thanks for your reply, i'll try and explain better. The error occured some minutes after sturtup. I opened the software center (via GUI) to remove rhythmbox, i clicked the "remove" button, the USC told me there were some dependencies to remove too, i clicked "Remove all" and nothing happened. I tried a few times, but with the same result, even with other packages such as totem.
I closed the SC and opened it with the terminal and sudo privileges, thinking "Maybe it wants me to be sudoer to remove packages?" and to search the terminal for possible errors; the application launched without problems, but when i tried to remove rhythbox again it all freezed (with the gear-like icon that means it's loading something) and in the terminal appeared the first error "dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process /usr/share/oneconf/oneconf-service exited with status 1" and apport reported it as a duplicate of another bug (something like Block_Call() i don't remember it well) After a minute or so, and with SC still freezed, there was the second error "AttributeError: 'InstalledPane' object has no attribute 'base_model'" And apport generated this bug report. In the meantime, from the first to second error, i did not do anything, which is the real strange thing for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1022853 Title: software-center crashed with AttributeError in _build_categorised_installedview(): 'InstalledPane' object has no attribute 'base_model' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/1022853/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
