Hi Gary. I understand I shouldn't have run SC with sudo, and i don't know why i
ever did so.
Today i'm not able to reproduce the error, but i'm still unable to install nor
remove any packages: clicking the remove button i get

and with the install button

since apport does not report this as a bug, i'm attaching the log file
here 'cause maybe the two errors are related.
