As this has been tested with the upstream kernel release, it should be
put back to confirmed.
Also, I'm going to take the liberty of marking this importance as
cricital as this is "A bug which has a severe impact on a large portion
of Ubuntu users" and renders the system unusable (without a very huffy
workaround)
