And I just wanted to point out that in Ubuntu Software Centre, every single one of the 7 reviews that appear for LMMS at the moment mention this problem, in particular two reviews giving a one star rating for this reason (can't find it anywhere).
** Description changed: Install lmms in ubuntu 11.10 64bit and it can only be launched via terminal and run dialog also locking the icon in the launcher does not allow relaunching with it.
