Looks like that Host Protected Area feature again... your drive has been configured to lie about its size and claim it is slightly smaller than it really is. The MBR contains the smaller size, but the GPT contains the larger size. It is possible that the HPA was added after you created the GPT, and some partition tool updated the MBR to the new, smaller size, but not the GPT.
