Hello Mahatmark,
thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Did you execute »sudo
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg« in order to choose the right resolution
for your desktop? I suspect this not to be a bug but a configuration
problem. Maybe you can attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/xorg.0.log
so we can see if this is a problem related to configuration.
