@seth - Yes, I was experiencing the issue when the bug report was filed.
I *think* the set up at the time was the mouse plugged directly into
laptop (and functional) and other 3 items into the hub (and non-
functional). I'm not entirely sure about that though - that is current
set up but I may have swapped things around in order to file the bug.
I'll pay more attention to that next time.

WRT devices that work or not, I don't see any pattern between whether
they are powered or not, or anything else. And it isn't just the USB
port either - e.g., as I started typing this comment the mouse was
working fine from one USB port, nothing working from the other. I tried
the keyboard in the port that works for the mouse, and it didn't work.
I then replaced the mouse in that same port, and it no longer works. It
just seems like whatever is recognising things getting plugged in is
super-confused.

To get them re-working I usually reboot. Haven't really tried other ways
though, so there may be less drastic measures that would fix it. (Of
course booting is so speedy on this machine, it's not that hard to
reboot ;) ).

I'll find a powerd USB hub and see if that helps.

Thanks!
