That's exactly what I needed, no need to run the command again. The keyboard and mouse are definitely okay to use through the hub. The ethernet adapter technically draws too much power, but as long as you only have it plugged into the hub along with the keyboard and the mouse you _probably_ won't use too much power. Plugging a fourth device into the hub will put you squarely over the top.
The webcam definitely needs to be plugged either directly into the computer or into a powered hub. Even if it was the only device plugged into a bus-powered hub you'd run a risk of pulling to much power from the port (since the hub itself will consume some power as well). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1056969 Title: USB accessories stop working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1056969/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
