I tried, but k3b said that there wasn't enough space on my CD to burn the iso to. I forced k3b to try, but the burn failed. I still tried to boot from the resultant CD, and I did get up to a gdm screen. But the Gnome desktop wouldn't load, and switching over to a console, I couldn't get any apps to run at all.
