The two traces are very similar.  They show that both the audio-out and
audio-in channels used latencies of 8 ms, which should have been
absolutely fine.  The only reasons I can think of for a problem to occur
would be a bug in the OHCI hardware (which is not unheard of) or
something disabling interrupts for more than 8 ms (which seems
unlikely).

A usbmon trace showing the problem would help.
