Looks to be the same stuff...
I posted on another forum that I think it would be great if Linux had a testing 
tool that manufacturers could run against their hardware and if it came back 
perfectly clean, they can claim full compatibility.
Otherwise, it's just playing russian-roulette to see what will work or not.
I read on another forum  about MSI only having a firmware flashing tool for 
windows, so that's something I need to keep in mind.
