Kernel 4.4.0 is unusable, screen immediately enters power-save and stays that way.
After GRUB (or if GRUB is not interrupted) the screen goes into power- save mode and stays that way. I can type my full-disk decryption password in and after a some disc activity I hear the "login sound", but the screen remains in power-save mode and doesn't come out of it with mouse or keyboard movement. linux-headers-4.4.0-040400_4.4.0-040400.201601101930_all.deb linux-headers-4.4.0-040400-generic_4.4.0-040400.201601101930_amd64.deb linux-image-4.4.0-040400-generic_4.4.0-040400.201601101930_amd64.deb Will try another. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1531824 Title: Xorg freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1531824/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
