~$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text
gives me:
0 mis à jour, 0 nouvellement installés, 1 réinstallés, 0 à enlever et 4 non mis
à jour.
1 partiellement installés ou enlevés.
Après cette opération, 0 o d'espace disque supplémentaires seront utilisés.

~$ ls /lib/plymouth/themes/
default.grub details ubuntu-logo
default.plymouth text.plymouth ubuntu-text
I really don't know how the missing files has been removed...
