I was trying to install Ubuntu on a friend's laptop. Off of the live cd, both Feisty and Gutsy Beta work just fine. Once I installed either, though, after restarting it a couple times, this error would pop up.............
Laptop is a Sony Vaio VGN-S260. I received similar results to Alex Muntada...
