@Aras: I have exactly the same Laptop as you have. You do not need to disable it completely, just change in the '/etc/default/grub' the following line
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=6000" This way, at least the most power saving states are still enabled (6W if disabled vs. 0,07W with PS/3) :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1678184 Title: APST quirk needed for Samsung 512GB NVMe drive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1678184/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
