@klerfayt: it began at around 35Mb and it climbed as time went by. I never saw a number larger than ~100Mb but then again I never let it run long enough without a "compiz --replace" or sth. I only have 512Mb and a lot of things running, so when memory leaks my laptop quickly becomes unusable.
