I really appreciate your efforts and time very much. Perhaps I could buy
you a cup of coffee?

As for the Xenial I am not sure how this came about and I was wondering if it
was safe to remove as it was installed one day (perhaps end of Dec 2017 on all
3 boxes) as a security update via the Ubuntu standard update that comes up
shortly after boot. This has happened to all three boxes and was NOT something
I requested or expected. I have not done anything with it as since it was part
of the update I believed it was normal. Also sometimes removing things has
unexpected consequences, sometimes, from my experience, like removing the
[evolution email] also removes desktop components that have nothing to do with
the package. So since this happens I DID hesitate removal as doing things, like
with desktop components, (I don't want or like i.e. = [Time Tracker] or
[Hamster] or [Games] or [Evolution]) have resulted in a 'FUBAR' desktop (a
mess) and having to figure out from log files what is missing so the desktop
works again.<br />
I have been wanting to trim the fat for years now but have no method?
I am going to assume I can search synaptic just for the xenial parts, something
like [linux-...(space)...xenial], as the search characters seem to work a
little different in synaptic then nautilus or gnome-search-tool

/*
*When installing Ubuntu-server [command line] one is asked what options are/is
wanted in the setup, *but this never asked for the desktop install. Sorry I
seem to be in a rant NOW! I have to go see *the doctor today and I am not a
happy camper today :-( My basket of deplorables would be *Politicians, Lawyers
and Doctors, but I digress into a primal rage!!!
*
*Thanks for the involuntary imposition I feel better now :-) James Niland */

[nilands55s] is a common user name for non secure thingies. Mabe that
where my other bug reports are?
