Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
If you wake your system and it has no sound, can you please go to `pavucontrol` [pulse audio volume control] and in the last Configuration tab, turn off your sound [profile]. Count to 1 (ie. a short delay) then return the profile setting to what it was before (ie. re-enable your sound to your default or favorite profile). Does sound return? (if it does, it'll be for the current session only; this won't be permanent). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1831393 Title: [HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH, playback] No sound at all; sound works when I turn on the computer and login after the computer is off, but if i close the lid computer suspends, and upon wakeup from suspend no sound from built in speakers and built in microphone also does not work.
