Hi there,
in the current prometheus version of 18.04LTS (2.10.x) is a bug that
does not allow the clustered monitoring solution thanos (thanos.io) to
connect. Especially Thanos sidecar throws error 504 while fetching
blocks from prometheus and prometheus api.
A newer version of prometheus solves the error.
Please update the package of 18.04LTS to an newer version.
