pulseaudio is not involved in the users setup in the session, its only used as the tunnel endpoint on the client for a virtual alsa device. you shouldnt configure *anything* for pulse on the server. ldm will configure everything you need during login. are both users in the audio group so they can access the emulated alsa volume control and pcm devices ?
