Hi,
I have installed 6.8.0-40-generic, and it appears to have resolved the
issue. Thank you.
For the technically challenged like myself who are reading, here is how
I installed it:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources
(Add "noble-proposed" to the end of the line "Suites:" under the
archive.ubuntu.com URI)
sudo apt update
sudo apt install linux-tools-6.8.0-40-generic
sudo apt install linux-headers-generic=6.8.0-40.40
sudo apt install linux-generic/noble-proposed
Restart system
