Hi Philip, thank you for helping me!

1) The headphones are plugged into the computer's headphone out jack; I
couldn't find a headphone jack on the monitor.

2) The upgrade from the 6.5-based kernel to the 6.8 kernel was done
automatically by /usr/bin/unattended-upgrade, as shown in the apt logs.

3) If I plug in the headphones later, the message shown in the attached
screenshot appears and then it's fine.

4) I did it for both, file are renamed 68-... for 6.8 kernel and 65-...
for 6.5 kernel.

I noticed that the message in the screenshot only appears when using the
6.8 kernel; it never happens when plugging back in with the 6.5 kernel.
