I have discovered a workaround that prevents the password from changing after a reboot. However, it involves storing the passwords in an unencrypted format. In my case, this is not a significant issue since the system is only active for a few minutes while I work on it, but I would not advise this method for companies and their employees who may also be facing this issue.
Found this video for the workaround: https://youtu.be/UWPQbPdRBBU -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2000063 Title: rdp password changes if autologin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-gnome3/+bug/2000063/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
