** Description changed:

Installing a minimal system with the following setup:

  /: btrfs or ext4 encrypted
  /boot/efi: fat32 unencrypted

leads to a system that does not boot.

Apparently either grub is not correctly set up or the filesystem is
encrypted in a way that grub cannot handle.

Grub drops down to the interactive grub-shell.

Entering `normal` shows an error message for the fraction of a second:

- "error: no such cryptodisk found. perhaps a needed disk or cryptodisk
- module is not loaded."
+ error: no such cryptodisk found. perhaps a needed disk or cryptodisk
+ module is not loaded.
+
+ Occasionally it's showing
+
+ error: no such cryptodisk found. perhaps a needed disk or cryptodisk module
is not loaded.
+ error: no such device: 683da99e-b5f3-4136-9d60-5155cb48ff1e.

- Note:
+ Note: 683da99e-b5f3-4136-9d60-5155cb48ff1e seems not to be related to any
device in my setup.

- Adding an unencrypted /boot-filesystem does work. However the installer
- will heavily suggest not doing that (and probably rightfully so).
