did u guys make sure that the mute is not on a nd in sound prefs pcm is
NOT muted as well as the main sound, if so umute them and esp PCM needs
to be unmuted and raise the volume level to the level u want to use.
I had this happen at times to me on Gutsy - a bug i guess :)
