Based on the Debian bug report this has been resolved there and synced to newer Ubuntu releases. So first of all someone should verify the issue has been fixed there.
Then, if someone needs a fix for this in 24.04 there's two ways forward. The first is a backport (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports) which takes the newer version and makes it available for 24.04. The other, if there's a minimal patch which fix the warnings to limit the amount of changes a Stable Release Upgrade can be requested https://documentation.ubuntu.com/sru/en/latest/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2062796 Title: Broken regexes due to missing r string literal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autorandr/+bug/2062796/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
