You say you cannot boot the -157 kernel either? How did you determine that? Did you choose the -157 kernel at the grub menu? (If you never see the grub menu: type 'normal' (without the quotes) at the grub prompt, type Enter, wait a bit, and if the grub menu does not appear, type Escape a few times, slowly.) In the grub menu, choose Advanced options (move the highlight there with the Cursor-down key, and press Enter), then choose the 5.15.0-157-generic entry. Does that boot to a black screen too for you? If yes, then reboot, go to the grub menu, and choose the '-157-generic (recovery)' entry. (If it shows a repair menu, press Enter on the 'resume' item, and press Enter on <ok>.) Then it should boot just fine. If so, then use the Update Manager to uninstall the -160 kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2128729 Title: Kernel 5.15.0-160 boots without any video output (on AMD) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2128729/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
