If this helps to clarify: Under Gnome 49.0, in Blender (In my case Blender 4.1.1, but others seem affected as well) when opening secondary dialogues like "Open File", "Save File", "Properties", etc. a flat gray box opens in place of the dialogue box, and Blender ceases to respond and you must force shutdown.
The best info I could find was that Gnome 49.1 had fixed the issue in other distro's. Since there is no recourse to updating Gnome on my own, there was little else I could see to post the bug against, and I hoped gnome-shell would at least be a good starting place. So if there is a better place for this report I would appreciate any help getting it moved there. I apologize for my ignorance. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2130855 Title: Upgrade to GNOME Ver 49.1 hotfix required To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/blender/+bug/2130855/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
