Jens Reyer here. Disclaimer: I'm not active any more and didn't have a deep look now, but:
The transition was fully done. wine1.6 can be removed for sure. afair wine-stable was a temporary binary package that we used instead of the binary package wine from src:wine1.6 because the latter had an epoch. The current packages from src:wine (Debian) are named wine, wine32 and wine64 - but not wine-stable. Nowadays winehq.org offers packages named wine-stable. But they are totally unrelated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2132621 Title: Please remove wine1.6 from Ubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.6/+bug/2132621/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
