When I had the Vostro, Dell changed both my keyboard and motherboard. Nothing 
changed. This is a bug in the EC firmware.
I had the Thinkpad P16s Gen2 and I can confirm that a similar issue occurred 
but was not the same. It occurred maybe 2-3 times in one year, and once 
triggered, that basically killed the keyboard and needed a reboot. Instead on 
my Dell the key was stuck until I pressed another button, making the interrupt 
for keyup of the previous key being "recovered". Then keyboard returned to work.
