This all seems weird. It makes more sense to update apparmor scripts to
handle multiple types of /sys/kernel output than to force people to
update a kernel.
Funny, I do see the dbgsym in the ddebs archive:
$ apt-cache policy linux-image-6.17.0-1004-oracle-dbgsym
linux-image-6.17.0-1004-oracle-dbgsym:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 6.17.0-1004.4~24.04.2
Version table:
6.17.0-1004.4~24.04.2 500
500 http://ddebs.ubuntu.com noble-proposed/universe amd64 Packages
But yea, no 6.17.
And like I said, I think handling both booleans and integers in the
apparmor scripts makes more sense. Even if it only has to cover some
kernel versions.
I don't know what controls the Ubuntu Kernel Bot. But it spams around in
other places as well:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/2095370
Right now it's just adding noise. Is there maybe a human ubuntu
developer around somewhere?
