That may be the case. But the aggressive "[if] verification is not done
by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source
code, and this bug will be closed" by the ubuntu-kernel-bot is uncalled
for. I was here because of a warning, not because of any broken
functionality (it may be broken, but I wasn't aware nor bothered) and
closing it in 5 days because I'm not rushing to install a new kernel --
which cannot even be found -- seems harsh.

Since you have canonical in your email address, you might be able to
take that up with someone.
