To rule out a couple things first, have you used this laptop with any
other operating systems before and confirmed the display works properly
there? Could you check for BIOS updates for your computer and be sure
you can reproduce the issue on the latest version?

Assuming the issue persists, we'll need to capture some debugging info
about your computer, like the dmesg log output while the problem is
occurring. The easiest way to do that is to run `apport-collect 2137080`
which will automatically upload system data to this bug.

You can also try a mainline kernel build to see if this problem is present 
upstream. Our latest mainline kernel build for amd64 is v6.18.1 here:
