Thanks for the detailed report.
Important notes:
1) 6.14.0-37-generic is End of Life (EOL) in the Ubuntu ecosystem. It's
not supported.
2) Consider switching to the latest supported HWE kernel (e.g., 6.17). I
believe Linux Mint provides such mechanisms.
3) Once you have latest supported HWE kernel installed, add
`snd_hda_intel.model=alc255-acer-headphone-and-mic` to your cmdline
explicitly and reboot.
