Additional investigation shows ACPI firmware errors during suspend/resume: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_TZ.ETMD], AE_NOT_FOUND ACPI Error: Aborting method _OSC due to previous error
The crashes occur only on battery, often after suspend (lid close), and result in a hard power-off requiring AC reconnect to restart. This strongly suggests a firmware / ACPI / EC interaction issue rather than a kernel panic. Intel CSME firmware has been updated (16.1.38.2676, status patched), but the problem persists. Split lock detection is present but set to warn to avoid fatal traps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136113 Title: Suspend crash on battery To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2136113/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
