Public bug reported:
After rebooting my Ubuntu system, the graphical interface appears to
load with a degraded display configuration.
The following issues occur:
Desktop icons suddenly appear larger than normal
Screen resolution seems lower than usual
Display looks blurry
HDMI/DisplayPort audio output is no longer available (cannot connect to
external speakers)
It appears that the dedicated graphics driver is not loading properly at
boot, and the system may be falling back to a generic software renderer
(possibly llvmpipe or VESA).
The issue happens after a normal reboot (no manual configuration changes made).
Before rebooting, the system works correctly with proper resolution and
functional audio output via HDMI.
Expected behavior:
The system should load the correct graphics driver at boot, maintain the
correct screen resolution, and detect HDMI/DisplayPort audio devices.
Actual behavior:
The system boots into a low-resolution, blurry display mode, and HDMI audio
output is unavailable.
